Claude
ChatGPT
What it does

Check courses, checklists and calendar events. Administrators can also look at training analytics.
- 03

Connect your assistant
Every member connects their own assistant. It takes about a minute.
Connector address
https://app.aristotl.com/mcp
Claude
- 1In Claude, open Customize › Connectors.
- 2Click +, then Add custom connector.
- 3Name it Aristotl, paste the connector address and click Continue. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects.
- 4Sign in to Aristotl, choose your organization and click Allow.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner first adds the connector under Organization settings › Connectors. Members then find it in Customize › Connectors and click Connect.
ChatGPT
- 1In ChatGPT, open Plugins.
- 2Click +, then Add custom MCP server.
- 3Name it Aristotl, choose a public endpoint and paste the connector address. Confirm the warning and create the plugin.
- 4Sign in to Aristotl, choose your organization and click Allow.
Custom plugins depend on your ChatGPT plan. In a ChatGPT Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow them first.
What you approve
When you connect, Aristotl shows you exactly what the assistant may do:
- Read your courses, checklists, events and knowledge base
- Make changes for you: create and edit courses, checklists, events and members as you
- Generate content, using your organization's AI allowance
The assistant acts only as you, in one organization, with your role. It can never see or do more than you can in Aristotl.
For administrators
Go to Settings › Integrations › Claude & ChatGPT in Aristotl. You can turn AI assistant access off for the whole organization. Turning it back on restores every connection, so nobody has to reconnect.
The same page lists everyone who has connected an assistant, with when it was last used. You can disconnect any connection from there.
Disconnect
Go to Profile › Connected apps in Aristotl and click Disconnect, or remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.
Access stops with the assistant's next request.
Your data
In short:
- The assistant only receives what you can already see in Aristotl, and only when you ask it something.
- Anthropic or OpenAI handle that data under your own agreement with them, not under Aristotl's.
- Aristotl keeps a record of each connection, of every change made through an assistant and of AI usage for billing.
- Aristotl does not receive or store your conversations with the assistant.
