Cookie Policy

Version: v1.03Last updated: August 17, 2026

Introduction

Aristotl, established at Entrepotkaai 2/802, 2000 Antwerp, with enterprise number 1018.326.784, uses cookies and similar browser storage on our website and services (collectively the "Services"). This policy explains what we store, why we store it, and how you can manage your choices.

Storage that is necessary to remember your consent and selected language is handled separately from optional measurement and marketing technologies. You choose whether to allow those optional categories through our cookie controls.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use browser local storage and pixels or network requests that can perform similar functions. These technologies can remember a setting, distinguish visits, measure website use, or attribute a campaign.

Storage and trackers we use

The inventory below describes the current website implementation. Vendor-generated names can vary by browser and provider configuration. The stated retention is the configured or observed maximum for this implementation; storage can disappear sooner if you withdraw consent, clear browser data, or the provider shortens its duration.

| Item and provider | Purpose | Category | Storage and retention | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | c15t (Aristotl consent manager) | Records whether you made a consent choice and which optional categories you selected. | Necessary | Host-only first-party cookie for up to 365 days, plus local storage until the choice is replaced or browser data is cleared. | | NEXT_LOCALE (Aristotl) | Remembers the language you selected. | Preference | Host-only first-party cookie, one year. | | Google Analytics (Google) | Measures visits and page use so we can improve the website. | Measurement | After measurement consent, first-party analytics cookies may be stored for up to two years. | | Google Ads (Google) | Attributes advertising visits and supports conversion measurement. | Marketing | After marketing consent, Google advertising cookies such as _gcl_* may be stored for up to 90 days. | | LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn) | Measures LinkedIn campaign performance and supports website audiences. | Marketing | Loaded only after marketing consent; pixel requests and LinkedIn cookies can persist for up to one year. | | PostHog (PostHog and Aristotl) | Measures page use with the website's privacy-lean configuration. | Measurement | Loaded only after measurement consent; its first-party cookie can persist for up to 365 days and local storage until consent is withdrawn or browser data is cleared. Requests use Aristotl's /ingest proxy. | | aristotl_referral_info (Aristotl) | Retains campaign UTM values so a later enquiry can be attributed to its campaign. | Marketing | Host-only first-party cookie for 30 days. It is written only after marketing consent and only when utm_campaign is present. |

Google denied-mode behavior

The Google tag starts with analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization denied. In this advanced Consent Mode state, Google may receive cookieless pings even though those storage and ad signals remain denied. Your c15t choices update those signals. This describes the technical behavior and is not a legal-compliance guarantee.

LinkedIn and PostHog remain unloaded until you grant their marketing or measurement category. The Aristotl referral cookie is also absent until its marketing-consent and campaign conditions are met.

Managing your preferences

You can reopen the consent controls from the Manage cookie preferences button on this cookie-policy page and change or withdraw optional consent at any time. You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the website from remembering your language or consent choice.

Google also provides a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Who has access?

Aristotl can access first-party preference and referral storage. When you grant the relevant optional category, Google, LinkedIn, or PostHog can receive the data described above as our analytics or advertising providers.

We may update this policy when the website's storage, providers, or purposes change. The version and last-updated date above identify the current text.
