Aristotl vs eloomi
Updated
Short answer
eloomi is a learning and people development platform: training, performance conversations, goals, 360 feedback and skills in one place, sold standalone or inside Dayforce. Aristotl covers one narrower job: turning procedures that change into short modules and showing completion per site and version. Choose eloomi for people development across the company; choose Aristotl for frontline procedure rollouts.
eloomi and Aristotl both put training on a frontline worker's phone. They answer different buying questions. eloomi answers "how do we develop our people?", across learning, performance and skills. Aristotl answers "how do we know every site works to the current procedure?".
Where eloomi is strong
eloomi describes itself as a learning and development platform that makes it easy for companies to train and develop their people. Its home page lists an LMS and LXP, performance management with one-to-one conversations, goals and 360 feedback, a skills view, and a social engagement space for employee communication. For frontline workers it offers an iOS and Android app, also available in Microsoft Teams, bite-sized courses, messaging channels and a library of ready-made courses from content providers. Its frontline page says the platform is available in 14 languages, and its home page says a platform launch takes 4-6 weeks. eloomi can be bought standalone or integrated into Dayforce's HCM platform.
For HR and L&D teams that want training, performance and skills in one system, connected to the HR suite, that breadth is the reason to buy it.
What each is built around
The two can sit side by side. A company can develop its people in a broad platform and still need a separate answer to "which of our 40 sites has the new cleaning procedure?". The question is who owns that answer: HR and L&D, or operations.

Which one fits
Choose eloomi when
- you want learning, performance conversations, goals and skills in one system;
- HR and L&D own the purchase, and Dayforce already runs your HR;
- you want ready-made library courses next to your own.
Choose Aristotl when
- operations owns the problem: procedures change and every site has to work to the new version;
- the source of truth is the SOP or work instruction you already maintain;
- people join through a QR code or access link per site, without a work email.
What to test in a pilot
- Name the owner first: HR and L&D, or operations. The owner's question decides the tool.
- Take one procedure that changed last month and check how each product shows which sites have it.
- Send the training to a temp without a company email and watch how they get in.
- Ask for pricing and hosting region in writing; neither is on the public pages we checked.
If you are still choosing between categories rather than vendors, start with LMS or operational enablement.
