Aristotl vs Axonify

Updated

Short answer

Axonify is built around a daily habit: a few questions a day, about 3-5 minutes, reinforced over time. Aristotl is built around the procedure that changed: the new version becomes a short module and you see which sites have it. Choose Axonify for retention through daily practice; choose Aristotl when proof per site and version is the job.

Axonify and Aristotl both keep frontline training short. They start from different questions. Axonify asks how to keep knowledge fresh in thousands of heads every day. Aristotl asks how to prove that the procedure you changed on Tuesday reached every site before the next rota.

Where Axonify is strong

Axonify's method page describes the model plainly: employees spend 3-5 minutes a day, answer a few questions to test their knowledge, and see topics come back at intervals chosen by an adaptive algorithm. Its microlearning page adds points, leaderboards, rewards and games to make returning every day a habit. The platform page lists Co-Creator, which turns courses, SOPs and raw sources into reinforcement content with AI, and Max, an AI assistant that answers workers' questions in 60+ languages. Around training it offers communications, tasks, checklists and audits.

For a large retailer or grocer that wants a daily knowledge habit across every store, with communications and task follow-up in the same product, that is a strong, coherent offer.

What each is built around

Two columns read top to bottom. Axonify: a daily habit of a few questions in 3-5 minutes every day, content from courses, SOPs and raw sources turned into reinforcement by AI, reached on mobile, tablet, kiosk or desktop. Aristotl: procedures that change proved per site and version, content from your own SOPs turned into 3-5 minute modules, reached through a QR code or access link per site or team.
Similar session length, different trigger: a daily habit, or a procedure that changed.

A daily habit is the right tool when the risk is forgetting what people already learned. A procedure-first rollout is the right tool when the risk is that people never received the new version at all. Many frontline operations have both risks; they sit in different parts of the week.

Which one fits

Choose Axonify when

  • the goal is retention: a daily knowledge habit across a large frontline workforce;
  • you want communications, tasks and audits in the same product as training;
  • you have the capacity to keep a question bank current.

Choose Aristotl when

  • the goal is reach: a changed procedure has to land at every site before people work to it;
  • the source of truth is the SOP or work instruction you already maintain;
  • you need to show an auditor who has the current version, per site.

What to test in a pilot

  • Change one procedure and time how long each product takes to put the new version in front of one site.
  • Ask what the record says a week later: who answered questions, or who has the current version.
  • Check who writes and maintains the questions once the pilot team goes home.
  • Test the languages your sites actually speak, in the training content itself.

Short, spaced sessions are a method, not a product. The spaced repetition entry explains why they work, whichever tool delivers them.
